A deposit of 40% of your quote is required to secure your space in our project schedule.

Please send your deposit to krio@rioindustries.ca. Please reference your quote number (number beginning with Q-) when possible.

Please read, sign, and initial your Quoted Services Contract and send it back to us at your earliest convenience.

It is mandatory that the locations of all buried utilities be marked before a ground disturbance begins. This is required by the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code, the Alberta Electrical Utility Code, the Canada Energy Regulator’s Damage Prevention Regulations and the Alberta Pipeline Regulation. As such, we must have your Locates Report in hand BEFORE the start of your project. To make things easier on our clients, we handle requesting this for you.

As soon as we receive your deposit, our team will send in the request for a locates inspection. A minimum of Three Full Working Days’ Notice is required in order for facility owners to respond to routine requests. However, during the high season (May through September), they will get quite busy and can take upwards of 5- 10 days so it’s always best to give them a longer lead time.

For more information on Locates and why this is so important, please go to  UtilitySafety.ca

For projects dealing with anything involving property lines, your RPR is an important resource to send us.

When possible, please provide us with the contact information for an alternate contact who can also make project decisions or is capable of reaching you quickly in the event we cannot.

Please provide us with the collection schedule for compost, garbage, and recycling waste at your address. This will help our crew plan ahead for multi-day projects.

We are super excited to bring your vision to life and are here to help you!

We’re committed to providing you with an exceptional experience with Rio Industries, from start to finish. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding the information on this page or any other aspect of your project. We value your trust and support and are here to assist you every step of the way.

Also Important...

Site Access:

Please ensure anything on or blocking access to the project area is removed before our arrival. We strive to give you as much notice as possible, but there may be situations where less than 24 hours notice is given. Should we arrive at your site and encounter blocked access after providing more than 24 hours notice, rescheduling or additional labour fees may apply.

Possible Job Rescheduling:

We reserve the right to reschedule your project in the event of adverse weather conditions, emergencies involving our crew members, or complications in preceding projects. We aim to keep rescheduling to a minimum, but feel transparency is important due to the nature of seasonal work. Due to Calgary’s often unpredictable weather, our most common reason for rescheduling is due to adverse weather.

Additional Work or Changes Orders:

If you require additional work or changes to the original quote, we’re more than happy to accommodate. Please note for quote changes, we will require a signed change order on-site. Should the requested work go beyond the original project scope, we will provide you with an additional quote for the new work requested. This ensures that everyone is on the same page regarding any additional costs.
